Showcased artist in residence “Phil Law”

Phil, developed his photographic passion back in 1975/76 under extraordinary circumstances on the ground in Darwin photographing the immense mass devastation caused by Cyclone Tracy for The Insurance Council of Australia.

Phil has lived most of his adult life along the beautiful Eastern Suburbs coastline in Sydney and presents a body of modern work together with a fascinating back in time heritage collection of images on display for sale available framed or unframed, and made to fit your wall space.

During the 90’s Phil developed a career path in corporate art, and as an art consultancy his company ” Double Bay Art ” worked on various projects within the Sydney CBD precinct before the Sydney Olympics.

Phil in 98 established his initial art space the Box Match Art Gallery Framing at The Spot in Randwick 2031 With a hands on passion for working with natural timbers Phil began specialising in Jarrah hardwood & recycled fence post timbers, and established Jarrah framing Studio.

With the growing popularity of Phil’s surf images shot of the Eastern Suburbs beaches ” Beach & Surf Gallery ” picture framing was created. With over 25 years experience in Picture Framing & Art Matters Phil can offer free cost saving practical advice.
